Cheer, Cheer....

Alice has been singing phrases from the Notre Dame Fight Song lately. So, this evening on our way home from a friend's, we started singing. She did not join in so it was a Mommy and Daddy performance. She USUALLY says, "Sing it again", but this evening she said, "Tell me a story." "About Notre Dame?" Daddy asked, curious that she would ask for a story about Notre Dame. "Yes." So, Matt proceeded to tell her the story of how Mommy and Daddy met: We were at a party, and there was no beer. It was Mommy and Daddy and John. And we introduced ourselves, and that was how Mommy and Daddy met. Alice goes on to say, "There's no beer at Notre Dame?" We said, "Nope. No beer." So, of course...her response? "Just pretzels!"
